BRG's Global Construction practice is a multidisciplinary team that has a strong foundation in project management, scheduling, and accounting combined with deep construction consulting and industry experience. BRG experts have extensively advised clients and their outside counsel to assess allegations and facts at issue. We are experienced in litigation and domestic and international arbitration, and include professional engineers, project management professionals, registered architects, AACE Certified Planning and Scheduling Professionals, Certified Public Accountants, Certified Fraud Examiners, forensic accountants, and industry leaders. We are currently seeking a leader for our construction practice. The qualified person has the ability to provide support and develop business in the following areas of expertise: 
  • Delay and Disruption Analysis
  • Construction Labor Productivity Analysis
  • Claim/Change Order Preparation/Analysis
  • Construction Defect Analysis
  • Standard of Care
  • Expert Witness Testimony
  • Discovery Services

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to build and lead high-performance & people: Leverage the collective through strong teaming and collaboration; continuously develop self and others.
  • Develop new and leverage existing client relationships, grow the firm’s construction capabilities, help serve our clients ever-changing needs
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work that achieves optimal client and project outcomes.
  • Build and sustain leading practices and operations by constantly innovating to stay ahead of our clients and our competitors.
  • Assist in setting strategy for the group, lead major client engagements, develop brand and marketing collateral, direct business development efforts, and manage the group.
  • Provides strategic recommendations for project/group and overall business that will directly impact achievement of results
  • Promotes new or expanded service offerings inside and outside the Firm
  • Understands BRG core services and recommends solutions and resources outside of team/practice
  • Monitors and ensures client satisfaction with overall service and quality of deliverables
  • Establishes an expectation for high quality standards for self/(team) in all aspects of client relationship/sales cycle
  • Defines a compelling value proposition aligned with the client's challenges and needs
  • Adheres to engagement acceptance process within established policies and time frames
  • Defines strategy and manages multiple and/or complex engagements
  • Manages within prescribed budgets
  • Takes a leadership role in professional or community organizations and promotes a positive image of the Firm
  • Writes and presents topics of interest to clients and industry peers on webinars, at conferences, and through journal papers, etc.
  • Ensures key performance management milestones are met for self and team; actively participates in calibration process
  • Pursues opportunities to expand own capabilities and to refine and further develop expertise to meet evolving market demands
  • Attends, and encourages team to attend professional development/training opportunities; instructs sessions as needed
  • Provides frequent and meaningful written and verbal feedback in a timely manner; offers guidance on performance matters
  • Recruits, and integrates new talent to Firm and practice area
  • Champions a culture of diversity and inclusion
 Qualifications:  
  • A Bachelor's degree with a focus in engineering or construction management is required; MS or MBA is highly preferred;
  • Minimum ten (10+) years field experience in the construction industry; Prefer those with cost estimating, change order pricing, prepared time requests, and/or experience in managing claims;
  • Developed, prepared, maintained, updated, reviewed, and analyzed schedules (P6, MSP, and any other scheduling platforms);
  • Must have excellent technical writing skills;
  • Experience working collaboratively with and leading teams; and/or
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, and travel for client work when needed;

 

Salary Range: $125,000 - $300,000
