Summary    

BRG is actively seeking a Director of Business Transformation to lead the execution of a transformation plan that will improve the operational efficiency of multiple departments and processes within the organization. The Director of Business Transformation will report to the VP of Data & Business Solutions, but will work closely with stakeholders within the Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources, Payroll, and Legal departments. This role will be responsible for taking ownership of a multi-year transformation plan, working with senior leadership to prioritize and strategize execution of the plan, engaging with stakeholders within the organization to define scope, objectives, budgets, and timelines while directing smaller project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Responsibilities    

  • Utilize a deep technical and operational background to quickly learn the BRG organizational, operational, and technical footprint.
  • Direct an evolving long-term transformation plan.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, objectives, and success criteria for smaller projects within the long-term transformation plan.
  • Lead strategy and design meetings; engage with subject matter leads to understand business weaknesses and identify and prioritize transformative opportunities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with business objectives.
  • Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and vendors.
  • Communicate project status and directives to stakeholders and project team through variety of tools (email, meetings, presentations, visualization/reporting tools, etc.).
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders within the firm; mentor less experienced colleagues; provide foundation for establishing strong culture of project planning and change organization.

Qualifications & Experience    

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as finance, accounting, business, computer science, or engineering.
  • History of successfully executing projects of various levels of complexity.
  • 6+ years of project management or operational process leadership experience, with focus in professional service, legal, or accounting industries preferred.
  • Solution-oriented mindset. Able to lead discussions, articulate problems, brainstorm solutions, and create execution plans.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical acumen. Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and understand and articulate dependencies and interrelationships.
  • Experience proactively driving enterprise/systemic change.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize information for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
  • Desire to learn new skills, systems, and processes.

Useful (Nice to have)    

  • Familiarity with Workday or similar cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Experience with ERP or similar implementation projects, preferably with professional service organizations.
  • Experience working with formulas, pivot tables, data connections, and visual basic macros in Excel.
  • Experience with relational databases and/or data cubes – connecting to, extracting, summarizing, and interpreting data.

Salary Range: $180,000-$235,000  

     

Candidate must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
