In the Economics, Damages and Forensic Accounting practice at BRG, we advise and provide our clients with analyses for forensic investigations, accounting, financial and economic damages analysis in disputes, and valuation of businesses. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a desire to advance within the organization by furthering analytical skills and project management responsibilities. The work will be both qualitative or quantitative in nature, and projects range from industry and subject-matter research to data collection to the preparation of statistical, financial, and other forms of analysis.

As a Senior Manager, you will be a key part of a smaller team delivering forensic accounting and litigation consulting to corporate clients and their legal advisors. Much of the work will be to support investigations and/or disputes for our clients covering a range of industries.

  • Understanding of engagement and client needs through discussions directly with the client or taking direction from a senior member of BRG.
  • Obtain understanding of the business drivers that underpin the relevant financial analysis.
  • Examine and interpret case related information to produce in-depth and detail-orientated analysis, identifying further research that needs to be carried out and which leads need to be investigated to support case development.
  • Analyze and interrogate large amounts of financial data and present findings coherently using Excel.
  • Assist with conducting interviews with a range of stakeholders.
  • Support case work by using Excel and PowerPoint to provide diagrammatic and pictorial explanations to present key findings and patterns identified.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across BRG's offices and various business practices.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with a CPA (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum six to ten (6-10) years of experience working for an accounting or consulting firm in an audit or forensic accounting capacity (significant transaction advisory experience will be considered as well).
  • Big 4 or other large accounting / advisory firm experience.
  • Experience with research software such as LexisNexis, Factiva, JSTOR, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ are desirable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (e.g., GAAP, and the relationship between debits and credits and statement of cash flow, income statement, balance sheet, and trial balance).
  • Advanced user of Excel in addition to other Microsoft Office products.
  • Capability with relational database program(s) are desirable (e.g., MS SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, Oracle), statistical analysis programs (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, R, and Python).
  • While we prefer this person to be based out of our Phoenix, Houston, or Dallas Offices, we will consider this as a fully remote role for the right person.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $200,000 per year.
